"New build in Canary Wharf. Handy for shops and good transport links. Wished there was parking at the hotel, but it wasn’t too far away. Staff very warm and helpful. The only thing that could have been abit better was TV reception in the room really but we were hardly on the room. "

"This was a last minute booking and it was absolutely amazing. The room looked just like the photos, so beautiful. Hotel is secure and really clean. The 2 ladies at the reception were so warm and friendly. Giving a 4 star rating because there wasn’t any luggage trolley and I had to get all my suitcases to my room by myself. Also check out time is 10 am, which is quite early. They also didn’t send me anything for my birthday."

"Another excellent stay at the Cove in Canary Wharf - great base for a few weeks in London. However it is time they begin replacing their mattresses - ours was particularly uncomfortable. Folks considering this hotel should also be aware that the building (one of the highest in London) creaks considerably when it is windy which can make it hard to get a good night’s sleep - fortunately we only had a couple of windy nights."

"The Locke ticked all the boxes of what we were looking for on our London trip. We had a toddler so it was very beneficial to have a kitchen in our room. The location was Central so easy to walk around London spots. The staff were very helpful. The welcome gift and card was lovely and had a personal touch. This is the place where we would stay over and over again. "

"Good value. Perfect for I needed it for. Clean. Comfy bed. Good air-conditioning. Great location 10 minutes walk from Liverpool Street. The room was small but plenty big enough for one person. A bit noisy in the morning. And quite light to as there is a street lamp just outside the room. I really liked it though."

"Doesn’t get much more perfect than this for me. Groceries about 6 min away. Buses, trains about 15 min max walk. Easy to walk to Tower Bridge and Borough/London Bridge. Excellent correspondence.. Peaceful building. Great heating. All the details are there of a true house guest. You will need to be diligent as the place is well run by details and will benefit you as well. Can’t remember the last time I had a working tele to enjoy. Will return. "

"First things first: it helps if you're not a light sleeper, as a Tube line runs underneath the building. That said, if you're a really light sleeper then maybe a hotel in the central busness district of the world's greatest city isn't for you anyway. Aside from the odd rumble, the rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and extremely well-equipped. Palatial by London standards. Having a full kitchen in the apartment makes a massive difference. "Rooms were decent for London, comfortable beds and surprisingly quiet given the size of the hotel. Try not to check in at 14.00 as we waited half an hour to get to the desk! It seemed quiet at other times. left luggage service was convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. We only used the hotel to sleep and were otherwise out, so cantcomment on the other facilities. Location is great, next to Russell square."

Great new hotel in London

"Saw this hotel advertised at a remarkable affordable price and photos looked great. On arrival, realised it's only recently opened - the staff are brilliant, rooms are spacious and having a large window in central London for under £200 a night was a refreshing change! My only slight gripe - the coffee & tea is located at a communal 'galley' on each floor so you need to leave your room in the morning for a coffee. Not the biggest issue, but the coffee is only nescafe instant. It's a bit of an inconvenience for a low quality outcome. I'd prefer either nescafe in my room, or a nicer coffee at the galley - e.g. Nespresso machines. Otherwise, a lovely stay. The staff made it particularly enjoyable. "

Perfect Hotel for London break

"The staff working in this hotel (breakfast area, reception & luggage room) were so attentive to all of the guests. I have never seen such good staff. Breakfast was excellent, i couldn't complain at all. Hotel is on the Picadilly line so direct route to Heathrow Airport and down to Covent Garden. I would definitely stay here again if I was in London."
