The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. "First visit to Deal. Had read the reviews and found the Clarendon fully met with expectations. Great view of the sun sea and sky, not to mention the pier! Truly a great spot. Parking nearby was easy. Dining options all within a very few minutes walk. Very easy to relax and have a great time at the Clarendon. The room was very adequate, a double bed which was comfortable and a fantastic bathroom with a very good shower. Quite a few stairs to negotiate from the entrance but apart from that all good. "
