"Never been to Watford (from US) but took a chance. Turned out to be an amazing place. Cool old UK pub and above, modern chic rooms. Ann Maria was the bartender and hotel host and she was outstanding and a hoot. She treated us like family from the moment she met us. Sean the manager treated us the exact same way. "Great little guest house in a quiet part of the outskirts of London. Got a good night's sleep there. Comfy bed and clean room. Shared bathroom was also clean. The host Usha was polite and helpful and recommended a good workers cafe for breakfast. Would return. "

"Nice early check in. Walking a mile to work mainly through the beautiful grounds of what was a massive estate. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The on site restaurant served an excellent selection of food. This hotel has only been open for 3 weeks but I’m sure it’s going to be a massive success! Great location! "

"Had a brief, but lovely stay with Jasmine in her lovely home. The daffodil room was cute and bright, faced the road but very quiet. Lovely comfy bed, room is on the smaller side room but perfect for a couple or a short stay. Shower was great and provided basic shower gel and shampoo and towels. The only downside of the room was the glass paneled door into the bathroom, but we just hung a towel on the hooks to cover it so it wasn't too much of an issue. Would have been nice to have tea / coffee...

Fantastic location,brand new building. Great appt

"The apartments are spotlessly clean. The support team of both cleaners and maintenance men on site and the call centre are fantastic. The security of the car park and building itself are outstanding. The electrical appliances (fridge, dishwasher, hob, washing machine, dishwasher etc etc) are all brand new and premium/ recognised brands.. SMEG, Hotpoint etc... But the apartments are just missing a few home comforts. Higher standard of cutlery and knives. Mirror in the lounge or bedroom. Lamp in the lounge. Bedside lamps in the bedrooms. The black out curtains and blinds need an overhaul. These are all minor things... and so easy to fix. We would not hesitate to stay again, despite these faults and hope they will be rectified soon. Also be aware, we have observed 5 arriving guests who didnt have their confirmation code. Hotels.com block your email address to Viridian. Virdian need to email you the code to get in. So most people who had a room booked by somebody else, hadn't received the confirmation code and had to call Customer Services. If you make your own booking they will immediately follow up with an email. But if someone else has booked on your behalf, that rarely gets forwarded on."
