"It's too bad the hotel was in such bad shape! We were looking forward to some rest and relaxation. The Onsen main bath was closed due to maintenance so men and women had to take turns using the other bath. Asking about nearby restaurants for dinner because hotel's dinner was only available with reservations, front desk clerk clearly told us there were only izakayas, bars, available nearby. There was a wonderful hotel restaurant around the corner for dinner that included access to the onset...

"Very spacious rooms with small kitchen area. Comfortable beds. Lots of room and extra futon mattresses are also comfortable. Granola/yogurt breakfast was so good! Nice to have the washing machine in the room and laundromat down the street. Check in was very smooth and staff was very helpful. Great location, lots of nearby pay parking if the spots out front are full. Easy walk to castle, mall and lots of shops. Only con was that the furniture and futon mattresses were a but stained but room...

"Good location with 5-8min walk from bus terminal. The unit is compact with all amenities inlcuding a small kitchen, full size fridge and washing machine. Condition of cooking utensil is excellent. Very efficient communication with the host. The only down side is that the heating is not very efficient. I stayed in a not-so-cold day (10 degrees), it still take hours to warm up the room, to an extent that i dont feel freezing, but still I need to put on my sweater to keep myself warm."

快適な宿泊でした。

"チェックアウト時忘れ物があったのですが、丁寧にご対応いただき大変助かりました。ダブルルームでしたが大きい机があり、仕事を普通にできるので助かります。また屋上の大浴場は眺めも良く、清掃も行き届いており快適でした。てきれば、脱衣室に体重計を置いていただけると嬉しいです。"

"We had a nice stay at Koko hotel. The hotel is conveniently located to transit access and on top of a mall. Walking distance to the castle. Lots of food options and shopping. The room was spacious and quiet. We did not spend much time in the room as we used Kumamoto as a home base for day trips. We would stay here again and recommend to others "
