"I must say that this hotel is definitely not a 5 star category. There is no air-conditioning in the lobby or the lifts. the staff were rude and not friendly at all. My partner and I wanted to see if we could arrange our wedding there and we were told the events manager will come and see us and never did at all. The rooms are dated and in need of updating. "We booked a Junior Suite for one night. The room was basic. The curtains were untidy. The plug in the bathroom sink did not fit. We were not made aware that the restaurant would not be open for dinner in the evening. On checkout at 10am reception was unattended, so we left our key on the desk. There was another resident waiting in Reception who seemed to have a problem and needed attention but had been waiting sometime. The hotel is very noisy and not at all restful. "

"This is a wonderful place to stay in the Alpuharra. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and incredible views. The couple who runs it are sweet and kind and considerate. We had dinner and breakfast there which was delicious with all fresh local fare. The property has a nice pool overlooking the mountains. There is a 10 min trail down to the town which has good restaurants and lovely shops. Highly recommended! "
