"Our stay at the Comfort Inn- Matthews was really good. The rooms were comfortable, if a little out-dated. The staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast, were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs to attend a wedding and Charlotte Checkers games, with easy parking, shopping, and ample restaurant choices within walking and short-driving distance. "The property itself wasn’t too bad. I found a hair in the bathroom area. There was pen ink stain on the sheets and one of the pillow cases had something on it. I just removed it off the bed. I only needed the room for one night and it was 10 pm when I finally noticed the issue.
