"Great check in experience. Room was clean and very comfortable. Bed exceptionally confortable, pillows were either too soft or too hard (Im fussy about pillows). Breakfasy was excellent. Lots of choice. I will definitely stay in this chain again. So much better than some of the expensive brands. "

"Wow!! I usually stay away for three nights per week with work so I see a lot of hotels all over the country. This place is up there with the best. From the ambient atmos when you get out of the lift, with the dimly (but adequately) lit corridors leading to the rooms, the decor and facilities, almost everything else about the place oozes quality. The price was very reasonable too. My room 115 was massive, high ceilings made from brick arches and perfectly laid out. The shower was fab and could reach the temperature I like. The bed was comfy with a choice of firm or squishy pillows. My favourite squishy ones were just like putting your head on a cloud 😊 The WiFi was really fast and all the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. If could really nit-pick and find something that could be improved …..the toilet in my room had a slam-shut seat/lid 😂 I would have expected a soft-close type in a hotel of this quality 😉 But once you remember that, it’s not a problem! The Titanic is definitely on my list of “Places I will go back to”!!"

"Had a late arrival flight in to Manchester and an early departure so an airport hotel was a must have. Chose the Clayton based on reviews and price and wasn’t disappointed. From pickup outside the terminal (driver told me this is an ‘on demand’ service; I was lucky as he happened by the stand) to departure, the process was simple and efficient with self check in and key collection making for for a swift process. This removes people from things but, for a busy hotel, I guess it speeds up the ins and outs of many travellers. Room was a good size, good price and very clean, well sound proofed and comfy. All in all a very good experience."
