"I would say this hotel is adequate. Not terrible or amazing, just ok. I didn’t expect it to be anything particularly special for the price, but a few things were disappointing. Firstly, there was no air con, which was pretty horrendous in the sweltering temperatures. Other let downs in the room were: no kettle/coffee making facilities, no soap etc on the first night (we did get them after that though), and, despite being a double room, it was actually two single beds pushed together. "Very nice hotel, reception and breakfast staff very friendly and polite. Room was nice. Only two (minor) comments of note: lighting needs updating (yellow lighting makes room dim), and shower is odd position but still works perfectly fine. Usual Italian morning breakfast."

"Hotel Artemide is centered in a convenient location. We were able to walk, to & from the train station, The Trevi Fountain & The Pantheon. The staff is very accommodating. Special thank you to Sabina who greeted us every morning at breakfast with a warm smile. Her service was magnificent! By the way breakfast choices were excellent, they even had many vegan choices .Desk staff Andrea & Francesco were very friendly & always gave a warm greeting .Francesco who helped us with our bags gave excellent service. They all made our stay super awesome. Our room was just the right size, the hotel is super clean and very quiet . Thanks for making our vacay special!"

"My family stayed here for six nights (enough to experience any problems). But we were really impressed with this hotel. Our room was a triple (#337) and it was a lot bigger than I expected, especially for a European hotel. The bathroom was enormous, modern and clean. Staff was lovely. The complimentary breakfast was really good - pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, bacon, yoghurts, granola… We were there during a busy time in Rome (Dec 27-Jan 2) so it was nice to be out of the main tourist areas where it was jammed packed. But if you’re a walker you likely won’t mind the location. If you prefer to take transit, there is a Metro station really close by. We did laundry at a self-serve laundromat that was about 100 meters away (it was expensive - 24 euros to wash and dry one large load), but we were glad it was there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel."

"Ideal location for sightseeing in Rome. We had a family room, great for 2 adults & 2 children. Price was right (booked through Expedia for 5 night stay over xmas). The rooms and whole area were so quiet at night, I couldn’t believe it considering it’s a block away from the central train station. Buffet breakfast was exactly the same every morning but for us it was just fine, something for everyone and good coffee. Beds very comfortable though pillows not good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend and would stay here again. "
