"We always love going sprowston manor as we married their 20 years ago so for us its the meaning behind the visit. The staff are always amazing but the hotel rooms are tatty and in need of a revamp. Pillows are lumpy and mattess toppers stained. Its the little things like do not desturn signs, having 2 pillows each which are just not there anymore. Breakfast is also standard now and not the quality it used to be. I cannot fault the spa and will always go back but am looking forward to seeing some...

"Dunston Hall was a beautiful stay. Friendly staff (especially Sally at the front desk), comfortable beds and quiet. I love historic hotels, so this definitely fit the bill. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Nice hotel and location for a short break. Comfy beds and good food & drinks. We cancelled earlier in the year because the pool was out of order. Pool was nice, however, jacuzzi and steam room were out of order. Showers shut off too quickly, and no soap/shampoo. We feel that spa area maintenance is letting the whole place down"

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "Beautiful Hotel. excellent, polite, friendly and helpful staff, Restaurant food was not really anything to write home about, breakfast buffet was good. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back 👍"
