"Stayed here before- love that my pet stays for free!! Usually there’s a place for the dog to pee - the lot is large with gravel but, no grass. I sleep well on the bed! There were no towels this time and the towel holder was very dusty so we didn’t put the towels in it. Area seems good - I can go out with the dog and feel ok."

"Loved and appreciated the breakfast and dinner. We were in town for a powerlifting meet and this hotel was super convenient to McKendree Universiity. Also 20 min from the St. Louis Arch, which is a must see. There was an amazing stand out employee that works in the dining room and check in. I wish I knew his name because he was so friendly and kind and the happiest man I have ever encountered at any hotel we have stayed at and we have stayed at many "

"I was traveling with my small children and when I pulled up to park it was very dark outside and sketchy. Carpet is torn up and baseboards r ripped up along the way to our room. We saw bugs in the room, sheets had stains on them, the door unhinged looked like the door had been kicked in before and it wasn’t replaced. "Very friendly staff! They even had a evening hot food and mixed greens salad! Really unexpected and nice. They even gave us free drink coupons, we each had a margarita. Clean room. The only minor downsides, and I am nit-picking, are that I could smell curry in the lobby and I would appreciate a bigger parking lot. Otherwise this is a very good place to stay at a very good price - excellent value! Overall a 9/10. "
