"New ownership, some changes good and some not so good"

"Very convenient to Metro-North Train Station. Staff in hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Various dining options nearby and hotel restaurant very nice, but with limited menu. Some may feel less comfortable with downtown Poughkeepsie location due to shuttered storefronts and some folks living on the street. However I never felt unsafe in any way. "

"We were not told it was under construction but they offered to get us another hotel. We checked out our room and it was newly renovated and clean so we stayed. Breakfast had lots of choices."
