"If you are reading this: JUST BOOK IT. The room is clean and spacious. Canal is 3 minute walk away. Breakfast brought TO YOUR ROOM to a table set up in front. Wonderful pool. They arranged a cab from Amphawa to our Bangkok hotel. But the staff.... I give them TEN stars!! Or more. Nothing but WOW. I will come back "

The property itself is surrounded by coconut farms. It’s a short drive to several floating markets, the train market and temples. The pool is quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. "Good location, quiet, away from the main tourist area but still close enough to get here. Not too easy to find at the beginning if you follow Google map. Suggest can put a direction sign on the car park. Room was clean but there are quite a lot of ants around also on the bed, I had to put some insects spray on it before I sleep. Nice individual cabin, can borrow a hair dryer from reception if you need. Staffs are nice, friendly and helpful."

"It looks a lot better in the pictures than in reality. Staff is friendly. Bathroom was not great."

"The owners make us felt at home. The old couple who managed this are so friendly and I love their Thai style fish congee for breakfast. Their son is also very kind. He came during breakfast to check on our well being if we slept well for the night. He even drove us to the bus stop where we headed for Mae klong train station. We absolutely love this cozy & homey place : )"

"Baan Chompoo Homestay is very clean and only 5 minutes walk to Amphawa Floating market. Breakfast was reasonable though not the best shower we had, but we were happy with out stay. You can catch songtheaw (public open ute) from across the road to go to Maeklong train market for 8baht per person so very cheap. No taxi available, however private car to Bangkok about 1200baht - The owner was nice to call and organise one when we requested."

"Staff said it's overbooking when i arrived there. So they changed my room to Vayla samran1 (we had to drive to vayla1 it is located in a different spot) which the room is cheaper, lots of noises and not that comfy as in Vayla2. When i asked the housemaid she told me that the room in vayla2 still available that's so contrast what the lady staff said. I was so disappointed during stayover there. The room was not clean, no fridge, and hot water machine didn't work."
