"Lovely hotel to stay in with or without your dog. A short walk to the beach and to the village of De Koog with shops and restaurants etc. The chef at breakfast was fantastic and was able to cater for our coeliac daughter - a big thank you to him! There was the option to eat breakfast and other meals in the cosy and bright bar / lounge area if you wanted to keep your dog with you, rather than eating in the restaurant. This was great for us because our rescue dog would have been very nervous...

"diner was heel erg goed. Kamer was schoon tot je wat beter kijkt, achter de TV veel stof, toilet wordt even snel schoongemaakt maar ruikt niet fris. Veel geluid van de etage boven de kamer. De receptie was niet bereikbaar na 23:00 uur ook niet telefonisch zelfs niet als je aangeeft dat het Nood is! De tablet in de kamer funtioneerd niet, gaat wel aan maar de welkom toets werkt niet. Als je de TV aanzet staat er een naam van een eerdere bezoeker."

"Pros: Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, easy parking, good location, lucky to find any accommodation at all as it was the last room available on the island. Cons: We apparently booked a "budget room" although we paid 300 Euros for 2 nights. Toilet and showers were across the corridor and not private. The room was terribly hot and noisy in the morning when early birds packed their cars. "

De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding deugt niet bij de Kievit. 75/nacht komt dichter bij de werkelijkheid. Terzijde: het wemelt er van gasten met honden die zich het ontbijt in de eetzaal bevinden. Hoogst onprettig"

"Hotel Bij Jef is zeer prettig om te verblijven. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en weet waar ze over praten. Het eten is een echte aanrader! Het is een feestje in je mond. Een echte smaaksensatie. En zeker niet te weinig! Enige minpuntje was het douchen, bij ons liep het water naar het slaapgedeelte. En dat lag niet aan de manier van douchen maar aan de afwatering."
