"Unique hotel experience – feels very exclusive, like staying in the white house. Staff is very friendly, breakfast had good, but not amazing options. Suite was very cool (had an upgrade) – classy furniture, comfy bed. "I will definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was neat. Krakow is a cute little fishing village. The only negative was that there wasn't an elevator and we were on the last level. This is definitely a problem for someone who can't climb stairs like my 86 year old mom who just had hip replacement surgery. But once we made it up we just stayed in the room for the night. The breakfast was good the next morning. Again the staff was very pleasant."

"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."
