"Service is really good. The inn is small and cosy with unlimited tea and coffee for guests. I really like the Japanese decor in the inn. The only downside is there is no noise proofing so you will hear every noise anyone makes. If you don't intend to sleep in, then it's not an issue. Nearby is the morihan tea square, a must - experience. "

"The hotel was clean. The roof top patio is so nice to sit and rest. The hotel is farther from the metro then we would have liked, but for the price it was worth it. Fushimi Inari is walkable from the hotel. Everything in the area closes around 8pm other then the konbinis."

"The staff was excellent and so helpful. The location is perfect to catch the 207, 202, 208 bus to multiple temples, shopping districts, and other tourist spots. It's very close to Kyoto station and was convenient to take the Shinkassen bullet train to Tokyo. The buffet breakfast was excellent offering Japanese and western food. The quality and quantity of the food was excellent. Overall extremely satisfied and of course will stay here again next time in Kyoto. "

"The hotel flooring throughout is tatami and shoes must be removed upon entering - this keeps the property very clean! The room was compact but furnished for access and functionality. The best part of this hotel is it's onsen - wonderful! "

"The lobby and hallway are a little cramped and dated, but don't be fooled; they hide a clean, comfortable hotel room 5 minutes from the keihan line and 15 minutes from fushimi inari shrine. The staff were very kind and were patient with my slow Japanese as I checked in. Really a lovely stay."
