"This Hotel has been CLOSED since 2021. Yet last week I was able to reserve a room and pay for it on Expedia. Also when we got to Agra we had to find a new hotel at the last minute because it is closed. Where did my money go?"

"They knew nothing of our booking via Expedia when we arrived but found us a room fairly quickly. However, the bedroom window was covered in what looked like mud and the fridge was extremely noisy. But they quickly found us a replacement room. Bedroom and shower were perfectly acceptable. Sadly all rooms seem to look out on building sites next door so the bedroom view is awful. The view from the roof however is spectacular with the Taj in the distance. The rooftop swimming pool is also very good...

"The interior of the hotel is super noisy. Every time someone call the reception you can hear it. The phone is super loud and the attendant lets it ring, so you get woken up 20 times over the course of the night. I had to put my headphones on to try to get some sleep. I will not be returning"

"Excellent hotel and location! We ate dinner at the rooftop restaurant and could see Taj Mahal! Shikya welcomed us at reception and was very efficient and helpful. She booked us tickets for a show for that evening and checked us in quickly. The rooms were clean, spacious and the shower was good. Very good value for money. Would recommend staying here when in Agra! "

"A BASIC hotel next to Burger King, a short walk to the Taj Mahal. The hotel was on a noisy busy road, the window frames were rotting which made the room cold. The staff told us that a heater was not included in the price but we could borrow one for 400 rupees. Breakfast was ok but they said it wasn’t included in our booking, but they checked again after we showed them our booking. Lastly at check out they asked us to wait while they sent someone to check our room which was unusual. "

"Room was in a building different than described on Expedia. Loud road noise. No top sheet, just a dirty old comforter that smelled and may not have been washed. Owner wouldn’t allow the A/C to be turned on. Shower is between toilet and sink so bathroom is always slippery. "

"The room was comfortable and clean. Wish we had more time to enjoy the overall property as there is lots to do. Would have been nice to have had breakfast included like some of the other resorts we stayed at. Otherwise the stay was nice. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Doubletree By Hilton. The staff were excellent. The spa was fabulous. We got a facial and hair spa and it was fantastic. Special shoutout to Sourav. He made our stay absolutely worth it. He ensured our needs were taken care of and made us feel valuable guests of the hotel. I absolutely recommend this hotel."
