"amazing location in the centre of town, perfect base to visit isola bella. We managed to park on the street for free."

"We arrived in the dark and parked in the lot nearby the church, there is no parking at the site and we walked about 3 minutes, but the walk is down a stone alley that is picturesque and felt safe. The area is very rustic and we simply called the number at the gate to be let in. No one was around but it was easy to pick up our key after calling for instructions. The area was nice and quiet but there are no walkable food options."

"Bathroom dingy and needs to be remodeled. The bathroom vanity countertop should be a different material. No hand towel hangers in the bathroom sink area. The kitchen faucet was hard to open and close. I kept hitting the light fixture above dining table, was too low, and not in the center of the table. I asked not to be disturbed the entire time i was there but i had housekeeping service while i was out. 😡 You could only watch few tv channels, the rest of the channels due to maybe loose or...

"Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. "The hotel is in a brilliant location for Stressa itself and for the boats to the Islands. The hotels interior is very Palatial, we expected it to be some what Palatial it was vastly more than we expected. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was lovely."
