"After reading many reviews and trying to do my due dilligence, we decided to book for our Engagement weekend on the Isle of Skye and were so happy we did!! The hotel staff was super friendly, fun, and personable. They have a golf cart to bring your bags to your room, and the rooms are cozy and quaint with a modern touch! It would have been nice for more counter space in the bathroom- hopefully they can add an extra shelf there. The free breakfast was fantastic, and they were accomodating to...

Little to fault about the hotel, if anything rooms were too warm (stayed early November). I would be a little worried about young children staying in some of the rooms, given how easy it is to fully open up windows, but otherwise would highly recommend this hotel."

"Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts. They provided tourist information for the surrounding area sites, restaurants and shopping. Our room had everything we would possibly need and was thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was amazing and fuelled our hike up The Old Man of Storr in rain, 50mph winds and sideways hail. Thank you for contributing to our special memories made in Scotland!"

The extra special touches made such a difference - a face-washer and shaving cream in the bathroom, very comfortable room & lounge area topped off by exquisitely crafted and cooked hot breakfast. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts, and close to town (Portree) too. Highly recommended!"
