"Very nice stay in the heart of Stralsund"

"The location is terrific, right in the middle of town and near the harbor. There wasn't any free parking for the hotel (their lot is under construction) but they offered a discount on a local garage and street parking is free at night. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, if a bit warm without a/c and facing the street. Breakfast was ample and very well-managed, despite the pandemic. There was only one staff member on duty at a time and the reception is closed from 6pm to 9am, which...

"A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely town. Our room had a delightful view of the Ostsee and was most comfortable. I wish it had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but never mind. The attached bar - the Rockeria - is a bit like a TGI Fridays, with the same varied levels of service you’d get there! One guy looked like he’d rather we weren’t there, and another - Marco - went way out of his way to make sure we were happy."

"Das Hotel ist nicht empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich, unflexibel und fast schon respektlos. Die Qualität der Zimmer lässt auch zu wünschen. Die Fenster wurden nie geputzt, leisten fallen von den Wänden, die Dusche ist verschimmelt. Der Zustand außerhalb der Zimmer ist auch mangelhaft."
