"We had an awesome time in Dettelbach at Gruener Baum. I booked it randomly because my BFF and I were driving from Hannover to Starnberg and it was in the middle. What an unexpected delight! The restaurant below was full but we got the last table available and ended up partying with the locals. It was a great opportunity to meet the local patrons and have fun. "This is a very old hotel that is a real pleasure to stay at in every way and the kitchen continues to exceed hopes and expectations for all meals. I have stayed there off and on for almost 50 years. "

"Not super friendly, got welcomed through an intercom, which i find a bit cold, and again at the check out, very not caring/service oriented. But maybe im a bit sensitiv, as one who sleeps in hotels more then a week per month, i got spoiled."
