"In beginning one lady from reception had rush me, but later she get back on normal. Rooms ok, but could be better for the price payed and same the breakfast.Location is nice, being in the centrum. Parking costs 8E per day"

"Rooms are great and spacious, also clean. We’ve booked some massages in advance which were also great value. (Keep in mind these are wellness, not medical!). However, the Fitness room needs some proper maintenance. Water rower out of water, Spin bikes barely moving, Weight stand bend, .. Nothing serious, but unexpected in a pricey 4* Hotel. Same is true for the Sauna Area. Like the knobs to hang your bathrobe/towel are either gone, or super loose. Again, it does function and I had a few Sauna...

"It is in the grounds of a castle, you can walk around the grounds. he road to it can be easily missed but as it is in a small village you will not get lost. The hotel is new , the bed was a little too hard for my liking. I had to change room as the room was not made up but the staff sorted me out with a new room quickly. the top class restaurant next door in the chateau by the moat is was not open on the day i went but the hotel has a limited but very good food. "

Automated key handing out machine did not recognise booking, phone number was just a recorded message but owner rang straight back and sorted it out. "Ich wollte hier übernachten, obwohl ich weiter entfernt zu tun habe. Die Bewertungen machten aber schon Lust auf mehr. Und tatsächlich Hotel, Restaurant und Bar, alles passt. Es ist picobello sauber. Das Zimmer ist groß, hat einen Balkon. Für Getränke ist auch in dem Etagen Kühlschrank noch gesorgt. Im Restaurant ist mein herrlich lecker. Mein Auto wurde auch noch umgeparkt. Vielen Dank dafür. Die Bar ist gemütlich. Es passt alles. Vielen Dank."

"Stayed for three nights in September 2024. Lovely rooms, very comfortable and good bathrooms. Those were the positives. The negatives were that the Como Bar (advertised as closing at 1am every day) was never open, there were never any staff in reception, there was a vending machine that served basic food and soft and alcoholic drinks but only took cash, the wifi password supplied on our invoice was blank but did not work, and when we emailed the hotel asking about the bar and wifi, they did not...

"Hotel is very good and the ambiance and food is excellent, although the menu is not large. The quality of the food is typically German, well presented and tasted very nice!! Parking is the challenge. The hotel has only about 6 to 7 spaces at the front, then parking is on the road outside and overnight and only until 10:00am. Works well for business users as we usually leave early and return whne the shops have closed."

"It gets you there really well. Clean, efficient. Best shower system I ever had. The charm of an old medieval city, fantastic views, wonderful old buildings, excellent restaurants in 500-year-,old settings, the hotel is a stone's throw from all that. It is outside the city walls, a bit overlit at night. Noise level pretty minimal. Nothing broke but if it had I'm not sure who to call. A trip down memory lane

"We left Paderborn 20 years ago so this was a chance to revisit nostalgia and spend a few days at the Christmas markets. Art Hotel was a super choice because it had thatxreal individual gaste stube feel and everythingwas as you would expect. Definitely recommended."

Good basic chain hotel near station

"Perfectly good place for an overnight stay. 7 mins walk from station; 10-15 to city centre. I didnt have breakfast (€12.90) as i needed to be sure of getting a fairly early train. (No wake up calls avaiable now phones have disappeared from roims.) As usual on the Continent, no kettle etc in room, though i did spot one vacated room that DID have this facility - 'premium' rate?"

Clean, but lacks in other areas

"This was my second time staying here and I was quite disappointed. Immediately when coming in we noticed how there was only one chair in front of the TV, meaning that only one of us could sit there to watch it which is a strange set up as previously I had a sofa there for 2. Moving on to the bathroom, although this was quite clean, the shower doors did not prevent any water leaking from the shower when in use. Every day we ended up with a big puddle outside the shower and then a soaking foot towel as the silicone at the bottom didn’t connect to the adjoining wall. Finally, the noise. It is completely understandable that on the weekend noise levels may be slightly louder. However, I was not under the impression that we would be able to hear all of the music way into the night in addition to even being able to hear people inside of the bar underneath us. For the price that you pay to stay here, considering it is next to the Alex bar and above another one, some sound proofing wouldn’t be a bad idea."
