"We loved that we could walk to the beach very easily. There are daily activities like yoga, ukulele lessons, etc. The pool and hot tub were nice especially after a day of hiking or surfing. The staff was great, they gave great recommendation on places to see on the island. There was only 2 downsides, one was how expensive the food at the restaurant is in comparison to other places around the island, including other resort restaurants. Second is that the parking is $40/day unless you park the car...

"Service was excellent and speedy. Rooms were spotless. Any concern was addressed and everything done to make it a great experience. Lots of very nice walking paths, beach nearby but not on property. Pool was shallow, decor generic and couch uncomfortable. Great price for 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend staying there. "

"Although we had an ocean view which was lovely, I think the rooms overlooking the gardens would be better as they are much quieter, and the gardens are beautiful. Nice from the pool made me keep the windows and door shut. It was super clean, but furnishings etc. need to be updated."

"Very homey feel. Clean. Staff was very nice. Only thing is the check in if you come in late. Was confusing with the whole lockbox thing. It was easy to understand once we were got settled in. But if you are coming from far and new to the area their system was confusing. I would definitely stay here again despite the late check in process. "

"Owner Phillip and his Manager Chris were very accommodating , always available. Breakfast was great, music provided on certain evenings were amazing. Kauai Inn is a quiet hideaway with easy access to the beaches and restaurants in Lihue. Its a great central location between driving to the east/north side of island and west side of island. Pool and spacious grounds were awesome. "

"Check in the young man was nice and courtesy. He was very helpful during our stay-from getting ice to exchanging towels. Cute touch to have ear plugs for the guests. "We had an amazing stay at this apartment complex! The property is stunning, with lush green landscaping, tall palm trees, and vibrant tropical plants that create a truly serene atmosphere. Its beachfront location is unbeatable, offering direct access to a lovely sandy beach. The snorkeling was a pleasant surprise—not a coral reef, but we still spotted a variety of fish and even a sea turtle! Surfing is also an option here, with board rentals conveniently available on-site. While the boards aren’t top-notch, it’s still a fun way to try surfing. The apartment itself isn’t luxurious, but it’s of decent quality and perfectly comfortable for a relaxing getaway. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like free beach chairs and umbrellas, which made lounging by the water so convenient. For dining, there’s a restaurant nearby, but having a car is a must to fully explore and enjoy everything Kiahuna has to offer. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d happily return for another stay!"
