"Tamarind Inn is a great place for a family on a budget to stay. It’s no frills but safe and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is an afterthought and not substantial. However, they do offer, for the best price in town, the best breakfast for the money in St. John. All the locals will stop by to eat breakfast here. So if you are a family on a budget, this is the place for you! We had a great time with the Tamarind as our base."

"These are truly rustic cabins, but the property is magnificent, with easy access to the beach and hiking trails. Ask for one of the treehouses higher up the hill where the breeze is constant. Be aware that the electricity is out frequently. "
