"This property resonated with the old German charm I was hoping to encounter during our summer trip to Germany! The rooms were all different and comfortable, and the dining room and great hall / game room areas were perfect for our group of 13 to hang out and have a few drinks while the kids playing a couple of games of pool. "Had a one night stay as we were driving through the area. Cons: No AC in the room, and it was WARM. Old and rock hard beds. Rooms were very loud, and i could hear my neightbour snoring just as well as i heard the traffic from the autobahn. Breakfast was ok. Not too much to choose from, but for the price of the stay i guess it was ok. Pros: Easy and accessible parking. Friendly staff. Very close to the Autobahn, easy choice when you are just travelling through the area."

"Interesting to see a place so suited to its setting (small town in a forest). All the furniture was hand hewn from wood imported from India, the owner makes and sells wooden shoes as well and you can see part of the process in the breakfast shop.
