"Hugo was a wonderful host. He suggested various places to visit. He made great pancakes. It was fun watching him feed the ducks. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The house was quiet and peaceful. It's worth a return trip. "

"I really enjoyed the old Florida vibe here. I was surprised at the ashtrays on the tables outside each room, but we never had a neighbor so smokers weren’t a problem. The bed was great, one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Being on/ near the lake was great for an evening wind down. There are charcoal grills available in the ‘quad’ area. Also a fire pit, pool, and several outdoor activities. The kitchen was lacking, it had the basics, but barely. If you go and plan to cook at home, pack your own...

"Sent us to our room, it had not been cleaned. Second room had black mold in shower area,walls. Could not take a shower, tub floor looked dirty also. "

"Motel served it's purpose but that was about it. Beds were hard as rocks, may as well have slept on the floor. Found rat droppings under the beds. Had window AC that barely cooled the 300 sq ft room. Only opted to book due to how close in proximity to De Leon springs to be close enough to make it to the springs before capacity was hit on the 4th of July. If your looking for a comfy likely cleaner stay, this isn't it. "

Beautiful Stay

"We absolutely loved our stay at Daytona Grande! From the first encounter with the lovely Andi at the reception desk to our last encounter with the valet service, this hotel is stunning. We had a packed schedule for an event with our daughter and this was a joy to come back to. The room was so relaxing! The views from our suite were magnificent. The only thing I would recommend would be door stoppers. When you open the the doors to the balconies for that lovely breeze the doors on the inside slam very hard. No big deal we used our bags to hold them open. Gorgeous property and fantastic service. Can’t wait to see you all again! "
