"Best central location to stay for getting around, shopping, and food. The hotel was fantastic and the staff was so attentive. It’s a huge station so be warned. Getting lost is a thing but I can think of worse places to be lost in!!! It was the perfect stay. "

"This hotel is strategically located within a 15 walk from Kyoto Metro station. There are many fantastic restaurants around the area, including shrines and temples that you can visit. Breakfast is served in the hotel and that gives you opportunity to load up on energy before you go out to visit all the fantastic places in Kyoto. In addition, if you sign up for the Kyoto Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour of Kyoto and the bus stops right in front of this hotel for pick-up and drop-off. There is a regular shuttle bus operated by the hotel that goes to and from Kyoto Metro station as well."

"This was our favourite hotel on our Japanese room. We got a large family room with 4 double beds, 2 showers and a seating area. There was also generous storage. The hotel was spotlessly clean with friendly, helpful staff. It was a short walk to Kyoto train station but they also had a free shuttle bus. Lots of good restaurants near by, but we also ate at the hotel which was decent. This was a great base for a stay in Kyoto "

"This was my second time at this property. I love that it has a public bath and is the reason I stopped again in Kyoto on my way to Tokyo. The room has everything that I needed. It’s a short walk from the Kyoto train station which has everything imaginable. Shops, restaurants, name it. The Japanese outdid themselves with that station. I got lost several times because it is so big. The staff are great as it appears to be at most Japanese establishments. I hope to come back again."
