"We enjoyed our stay at the Greenbank. Reception were so helpful to find a parking space (we have a camper van). From reception to the dining staff, nothing was too much trouble. Room was sooo clean with a beautiful view of the harbour and looked like the bathroom had been refurbed fairly recently. Reviews on the restaurant we read were mixed, which we couldn’t understand as the our experience was amazing. Thank you to all the staff at the Greenbank. We’ll be back !"

"I loved staying at Jacob's Ladder. The rooms are gorgeous and the owners are fabulous. You can walk all over Falmouth from this location. The pub is fun and family friendly. The food is great. My room was very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again!! "

"My stay was EXCELLENT. All the staff were very attentive, polite and very efficient. Their mannerisms really excelled. The food was fresh, hot and very well cooked and presented. I was even fortunate enough to witness Father Christmas Coming in the dining area with his sack of presents accompanied by his elf where he gave each and every guest a gift and we had a little sing along. Such a lovely experience and it really made my day. Now I am no spring chicken - let’s say majority of the guests...

"Free parking outside the hotel (a bonus), greeted on entry and helped with check in. Rooms were adequate with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was a little different: limited cereal option but different bread options for toast. A new one to me was the set menu for cooked breakfast- made to order. Also a choice of teas and coffee. "I don't normally leave reviews but this was worth a decent review. Booked late on the day of arrival & they were 100% ready for my arrival. My room was clean, modern, bed was comfortable & the shower was good. Food was superb (I'd definitely recommend the King Prawn & Crab linguine) & breakfast was equally as good. Most importantly the staff were so pleasant (apologies I didn't catch anyone's name). Next time I'm in the area this will be the first place I look for."

On the waterfront and with fantastic dining options it was the perfect place to spend a pre Christmas getaway and mooch around the classy little town of St Mawes, which always seems to be bustling without being overcrowded even at peak times of the year. The continental buffet (yoghurts, breads, fruit, pastries) was very appreciated, and the hosts also had a home-made cake that guests could have upon arrival. The room was quiet, and the king size bed very comfortable. The shower (over the bath) had good water pressure and easy to use. Free parking is available for eight cars (four at the front, four to the rear). "
