"Marriott standards are not what they use to be. The hotel, and facilities are very good, however, our room was far too hot, and there was no thermostat to adjust … The fridge didn’t work, and the general condition of the room could best be described as tired… We had to open the sliding patio door to keep the room temperature down, not ideal by a lake and open to all….. Not sure how their billing system works, my bank account was charged on the first night for some extras..even the reception...
