"Excellent as always "

"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"

"This was a last minute trip, we wanted guest house that was near hotel, not far to walk into centre. A quiet location, street parking but seemed safe, just look out for permit parking signs(guest house did give us plenty of information) a good breakfast, so quite a good stay. There was just a couple of things that hadn't been done, mirror in bathroom still had marks on it and there was used and empty complementary toiletries still in the shower, it wasn't a problem but just wasn't nice to see. "I always stay at The Barn B&B every time I come to visit my family and friends in South Wales. The bedrooms are always clean, very comfortable and the owners are very helpful and accommodating. They also sell homemade honey which is very reasonably priced and tastes delicious!"

"Tony runs the place and was very welcoming. It is a lovely property in a wonderful setting with plenty of parking for guests. I had a really nice room with a great shower and very comfy bed. The place is very near to some good dining options for the evening. Cooked breakfast was ok but overall a very pleasant stay which I would use again for sure."

"Highly recommend Beaconsview B&B! Jen made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. It was my partner’s birthday and Jen left a note and a gift for him - it was really kind. Absolutely stunning views and the breakfast was wonderful. Parking was a brilliant bonus. The room was gorgeous - beautifully decorated throughout, spotless, the bath and shower were fab, and the bed was huge and really comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

Mrs Jones is the most gracious host - wish I had more time to chat with her. Breakfast was a superbly delicious treat - was spoiled for choice. Was so full, I skipped lunch.
