"Good for what we needed. Tea and coffee facilities were great. Iron and Hairdryer included in the room was a good touch, first time I've ever needed to use them and they worked. The pool was ok, slightly too busy, but we did use it at peak time (evening). Great stay."

"A faded beauty that offers good value and a great location. The staff were very helpful in accommodating my requests. My room overlooked busy Queen St and was noisy but I was warned of this and was given the option to switch but I did have a strained view of the castle which was a trade off. The traffic noise died down after 11 pm anyway. Loved the soaker tub! TV had wonky reception and there were no electrical outlets beside the bed. An extension cord was provided and sufficed.
