"This is a beautiful and unique hotel and we had a great stay here. Positives: lobby area had games and a variety of seating options; beautiful and sexy decor; helpful and friendly staff; great location with tons of dining options within a few blocks. Negatives: Rooms are TIGHT. Would be comfortable for 2 people, but was a very tight fit for a family of 4. Anyone with mobility issues should definitely ask for an accessible room in order to have more space to move around. "

"I stayed at a Moxy in Oakland which had a better vibe. I think the staff there were happier, and genuinely enjoyed working in this more dressed-down version of the hospitality business. At the NYC Moxy, you could feel that the bartender felt harassed - maybe by unpleasant customers? It was also unpleasant, also, that you had no choice but to walk across the very noisy bar at night. That made the experience less relaxing than I wanted when coming home at night."
