"If I could rate just staff and setting, it would be 6/5! Akram and Tuan were the pillars of hospitality and so kind. The setting and view of the hotel (the deck!) was unbelievable, as were the nearby Silver Sands. That said, I echo others in saying the price does not match the quality of the rooms. This hotel really is in need of renovation. The downstairs common area and dining room are lovely, so hopefully the rooms can eventually meet this standard. I’m really rooting for the Morar Hotel...

"Booked the room with the queen size bed and a pill out couch for the kiddo. Loved the vintage feel of the room except that the shower had a slow drain. We contacted the front desk and this young lady came over right away and fixed it. Great water pressure. "The Guest House was very convenient for a recent visit to the west coast of Scotland. Self-check in was made east by the entry code being emailed on the morning of my stay. The room was clean and tidy and fridge in room was handy. Complimentary breakfast items were convenient if basic. Only downside was the heater was on prior to my arrival, and the window didnt open, meaning it was uncomfotably hot during the stay. "

"I was staying here as part of a tour, and this was the nicest hotel of my Scotland visit. There is still some construction on the exterior of the building, but the inside is very nice.
