"The staff were very friendly. The room was so comfortable and incredibly quiet. We had messaged ahead and a parking space had been reserved for us. We had also mentioned we were bringing our dog and she was very welcome. Both of these reservations incurred a fee but that was expected. We paid for these when we arrived, together with the tax. "The address on google maps put us way off. Took us an hour to find the hotel. One found, check in was easy. Romm was clean and quiet. "Unfortunately the rooms were not clean, the mirrors were filthy. The floor was so grubby I had to keep my shoes on. The shower was filthy. There were a lot of big black bugs in the room. The owner said they were crickets and all part of the countryside.. that’s fine I just don’t want to have to spend all night removing them from the bedrooms.
