"The unit my wife and I stayed in was very clean and very well equipped. A good bed and lots of room. Everything you could want was there. Maybe one negative was that the DVD player didn't have color but that was a minor point. The staff were friendly and the pool and water park were lots of fun."

"We stayed at the Eden Gateway twice, on the way down and back to and from our daughter in Gippsland. The property is clean and spacious with a mix of static and mobile caravan and camping sites and a number of luxury cabins - which we used. A major benefit for us was that the site is pet friendly for our toy poodle. There is, however, a one off (per visit) charge for pets. "Have ever stayed once before in this style of accommodation and found they give a more spacious & practical stay than hotel rooms or some apartments as they are all on 1 level, few or no stairs to access. Parking right outside. The amenities are great especially for families with children and extended family. The access here by a short walk to the beachside was good. "We stayed at the Tiny Home. The facility is just right for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. To access the beds, you would need to climb the stairs and ladders. There is also a kitchen, living room with TV and spacious porch with BBQ and chairs and table. It is close to the beach. There is also a cafe/restaurant at the nearby Seahorse Inn - their coffee is excellent. As others have pointed out, the WIFI is not great. The mobile reception isn’t good in the Tiny Home either. "Beautiful views across the beach, with plenty of wildlife just outside your door. Staff are very friendly and always happy to provide some local knowledge of the surrounding area. Cabins have most of what you need with a spacious patio area for a lazy afternoon bbq. Showers can be a little tricky getting a consistent temp, so don’t expect any luxury in that department. "

Great spot for the family

"We stayed at the Eden Gateway twice, on the way down and back to and from our daughter in Gippsland. The cabin was very well equipped with everything you need and was spacious with two rooms, double for mum n dad and bunks for up to 3 kids. There was plenty of room in the "family room" - but it might be a bit manic with those 3 kids. There's plenty of room and activities for the kids outside but, and the town and beach are a couple of minutes drive - you could walk it. In the town, there is a range of shops, including supermarket and restaurants to suit most tastes. "
