"Barbara was fantastic. She was very helpful in obtaining our train reservations for Salerno. We enjoy the outdoors and each morning the breakfast server made sure we had a tablecloth for our table. "The hotel manager was very pleasant, supportive and helpful eg when I couldn’t open the lock to my luggage. As described there was a shower and basin in the room but shared toilet (which also had a sink n shower cubicle). The busy road was straight outside the room’s high up window. Connection to the railway station via bus is good. The walk into the centre of Florence takes say 20 minutes."

"At my request my room was on a low floor because I knew in advance that there wasn’t an elevator. This made my stay much more comfortable. The hotel is a 25 minute walk (almost completely flat) to the historic area. Very convenient location. "

"This is a good place to stay, spacious and modern right next door to museum Academia and a five minute walk to the Duoma. The only negative is the rooms were very hot, at night was 26c. They finally admitted they close air conditioning in September so we only had ventilation. It was not fun trying to sleep even with windows open. They also have a giant jacuzzi for the shower.
