"We loved our stay at Vell Marí and would definitely go back again. It’s an easy drive from the airport. We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel. It’s right opposite Lidl which is handy if you don’t want to take toiletries in your suitcase. "The hotel was friendly and clean, the staff were helpful. The room was well aid out and spacious this particular room did not have a proper shower tray with a door or a towel rail which would have been better. The balcony view of this room was to the rear of the hotel no pleasant gardens or anything just views out over residential properties and the car park which can be a little noisy at times with cars and dogs barking etc. "

However, at check-in, we were given an apartment with a balcony offering a side sea view. The reason was that the rooms with a direct sea view were fully booked. "Good, but not perfect. Hotel itself is nice, not 'a million rooms crammed into a tiny complex' which you'll see on the island. We stayed All Inclusive for a week and left 3rd of November, hotel was beginning to wind down for the season as we were leaving, it got very very busy from 31st October as they must have had a special Spanish Resident deal on, for Halloween. "This was a perfect property for my boyfriend and I. We were able to enjoy the beach (30 second walk) with everything in walking distance including Aldi for groceries and many restaurants and mini supermarkets and gift shops on the surrounding streets. The staff were very lovely and often put out the leftover pastries from breakfast to share! Would definitely stay again and couldn’t recommend more if you just want a small, convenient and affordable getaway! "
