"We stayed at the Posada del Mar three different times during our month in the Galapagos and really enjoyed our visits. It is on a quiet street, yet conveniently located near restaurants, shops and the Puerto Ayora harbor. The delicious breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the harbor. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean, with air conditioning, a private bathroom and lots of hot water. The staff is very friendly. Carlos and his wife were wonderful and let us store our luggage at the office during the hours between checkout and our ferry departures and arranged for a taxi to take us to the Baltra airport. "We absolutely loved Acacia House. All of the employees are fabulous and want to make your stay the best it can be. We stayed in #202 which overlooked the pool. We had a king bed and the room was large and the bathroom had a nice tub and shower and a nice balcony that looked over the pool. We had a great breakfast which included eggs your way, avocado, toast, yogurt, granola and fresh fruit and a fresh juice & coffee. It was soooo much food but excellent!! Ohhh and also empanadas and bacon. The location is perfect. It’s about a block or so off the Main Street. So many restaurants within 2 min walk and also a salon and place for excellent massages. Whatever you need Bente and her wonderful staff can arrange for you. The beds and linens were so comfy! The pool was perfect! We absolutely recommend this hotel. I promise, you will love it! "

"Capitan Max was the perfect place to start our Galapagos trip. The hotel is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the main pier on the way to Tortuga Bay. Max arranged our transfer from the airport and arranged another taxi for us the following day to take us to the highlands for the giant tortoises. We only managed to eat breakfast once during our stay as we had to leave early for day trips but the breakfast was good. The room was clean and pleasant with good aircon. "

For a fee, they conveniently arrange transportation to and from Baltar Airport, which made our trip even smoother. Additionally, they provide free clean cold/hot drinking water and coffee for guests downstairs, which was a nice touch.
