"Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Superb location for anyone that loves golf, biking, hiking or indeed lazing by the pool. Felt like we had the place to ourselves even though the restaurant was relatively busy each evening. The staff are instinctively helpful at every turn and just a five day break felt like a fortnight. Well-being in a week right here! Chapeau to the HDC team and I’m sure I’ll be back with my golf clubs at some point to play Seve’s 18 👌"

"Out 5th stay at the Vallemar and standards remain consistently high. An excellent frontline hotel with a wonderful roof terrace and pool. The hotel restaurant overlooks the Lago Martínez and provides a large range of buffet style dishes with produce sourced from its own organic farm. The restaurant staff are professional and attentive. "Great place just a couple of issues but would stay there again 100%. Nobody to greet us on arrival but got key once contact made via phone (after finding number). Wrong room given (double instead of twin). Rectified and had a great stay. Great location - short enjoyable walk from beachfront. Shower temp seemed to be switch either on or off - if you care about that. Helpful staff and trustworthy owner. "
