"Staying in a cottage within Colonial Williamsburg was a nice alternative to a regular hotel room and we appreciated having the extra space, peace, and fireplace. Check in was frustrating, however, when they put us in a Tavern Room instead of the house we reserved. When I called the front desk to inform them of the mistake, the woman tried to tell me they were all booked up and if we didn't want the Tavern Room she could try to find something else but would charge us extra.
