"What a lovely little gem of a hotel! It’s in a great location—within walking distance to Saltaire, which was perfect for a bit of exploring after work. "The little touches like breakfast porridge/pastry and water. The fridge, wine glasses were nice. The place was really nice quality. The outside seating area is a nice benefit. The only things that could improve would be a mirror on the wall near hairdryer to do hair, luckily I’d brought my own as this tends to be a common issue. "Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy"

"Good stay. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Room clean and had all required amenities, although I found the bed a little too soft, but my husband slept well. Staff very friendly, although we requested extra tea bags and milk twice, but it didn’t arrive. Went down to reception but unmanned. However, Harry on the bar was brilliant."
