"In short: one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Worst of all is the customer service. There was only one person at reception who spoke poor English. All the rest of the staff speak only German, all information and signs are in German. When checking in, we did not receive any information about amenities, facilities, absolutely nothing. "They had both hot breakfast(scrambled eggs,sausage and bacon) and various cold items prepared early in the morning. Room was fitted with a mini bar refrigerator and mini canisters of nuts for very reasonable prices. Coffee was delicious! Water pressure was excellent too."

"Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. Book early, this hotel is popular and fills up fast."

"The spa, gym, and lake views are excellent. The hotel has a very 90's feel and no room service (this was a bummer as we had a lake view room and wanted to stay in and relax). The beirgarten by the water has excellent food, although it closes at 930pm (as does the only restaurant on site (a buffet). The place was comfortable for 1 dayx the lake location and sauna were exactly what we wanted"

"Sheets and towels were scratchy, not soft. The coffee maker in the room did not work. The pillows had no neck support. The shower head did not have a strong spray and the hand held spray was worthless with spray power. They had a spider in the bathroom on the ceiling, too high for me to reach. On a good note it was quiet, great breakfast, and the bathtub was big for a comfortable bath."

"We stayed one night while travelling home. The hotel was very nice and clean. The only problem we had was it was very hot and we couldn’t turn the heating off. Would recommend this hot as the setting is beautiful and the surrounding are very quiet. "
