The property is lovely. Inside city wall, very walkable. We were family of 5 adults on 2 week vacation. Winding narrow staircase, no lift or elevator and our rooms were located on 3rd floor! No assistance with luggage.

Definitely made the right choice picking this hotel, an easy flat 10 minute walk from the train station, just inside the city walls, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, bathroom gleaming, heating that actually worked, great staff, would pick this hotel again no problem. A lovely Italian restaurant a couple of doors away if you get sick of German food. Very well located...just pick a street and wander, it's an amazing town

The hotel is right near the town walls so it’s not exactly in the center but the town itself is so small that walking to the center is an easy and quick 10 minute on leveled incline. The staff was very friendly and wonderful. While most properties inside the town wall are old, the rooms we had were updated and met our basic needs. It almost felt like we stayed at a relatives house because of the way the rooms were laid out and designed.

Hotel is located inside the city walls so it is very old. There is no elevator and room was very small. Room was very clean and had a great shower. Rooms have no A/C. There is no bar or restaurant on site either but they do offer a continental breakfast and offer you eggs if wanted. Convenient parking was available. In the old town everything is walkable so didn’t use the car while in the old town. If staying in old town it was fine.

Mike and his family were AWESOME hosts and greated us each morning with a friendly word and joke. Staff made the stay excellent. Morning (German) breakfast was super fresh and way more than you could ask for. Location inside the walled city made it super easy to get around and easy access to a starting location to walk the raised wall. City square and shopping was only a few min away. We will definitely return to this property in the future.

Very happy with the room and hotel. Rated 4 and not 5 just because there is no AC, but we did not actually need it (and there is a fan). Beware that if you have heavy luggage, you will need to carry it upstairs to your room. Reception staff was excellent.

This quaint hotel is a great clean stay with friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast. The town is all cobble stone so yes you hear the cars running over them. Keep your window closed or bring ear plugs, that’s what we did.

This hotel is located within the walls of Rothenburg. Walkable within this awesome Medieval Town, one of the few spared by WW II and which still has some buildings and towers over 1,000 years old. Hotel Private Parking is across the street, and be aware that the hotel and everything surrounding it closes by 10pm.
