"The hotel itself is beautiful and within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff on reception were especially friendly and helpful and arranged restaurant reservations for us and checked ahead with all these restaurants to make sure they catered for gluten free. "What a pleasant surprise. The family at this well organised hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is more than adequate. We will recommend a stay at Hotel Dolly to anyone we meet who are visiting Via Reggio. Via Reggio is charming resort ,busy but not appearing so. The bay and beach are excellent but unfortunately access is controlled by hotels."

"The location was close to the promenade and beach. A lovely park was directly across from the property. It is a perfect place to walk to the train station, beach, restaurants and shops. It was a quiet location as well. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. The train made seeing Lucca and Cinque Terre a dream come true for me. I highly recommend this place. "

"Wonderful location for Carnivale, its on the parade route. The room is very bright but, they have electric blinds so you can adjust the light coming in. The breakfast is great it has lots of choices. The beach is just across the street.
