Tour replicas of famous Italian monuments and unwind at the stylish beach clubs along this glorious stretch of the Adriatic.

Visit Viserbella (officially Viserbella di Rimini), a pretty seaside resort in the Rimini region of the Adriatic Riviera. With wide areas of soft golden sand and tranquil water, Viserbella is a favorite resort for vacationing families. Spend your days topping up your tan, dining at beachfront restaurants and having fun at nearby amusement parks.

Check in to one of the well-equipped bagnos (beach clubs), which offer recreation and relaxation for all ages. Join in games of beach soccer and volleyball or cruise across the sparkling turquoise water on a rented pedal boat. Activities, such as creative workshops and animated shows, will keep children entertained while you enjoy some quiet time or indulge in a massage. Walk to Viserba Marina for great views of the Adriatic shoreline.

Various dining options line the waterfront Viale Porto Palos. Shop for souvenirs, jewelry pieces and leather goods. At the Museo delle Conchiglie e della Marineria, a photography exhibition tells the story of Rimini’s maritime and fishing heritage. If you are feeling energetic then travel along the coastal road on a rented bike Rimini Marina is just 3 miles (5 kilometers) away via Rivabella.

Don’t miss the opportunity to explore Rimini’s superb collection of amusement parks. Closest to the resort is Italy in Miniature, where you can stroll amid scale versions of iconic Italian and European landmarks. Among them is the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Eiffel Tower. There are gondola rides, hands-on science exhibits and a Formula 1 racing simulator, too.

A 30-minute drive away is Fiabilandia, a park home to boat rides, a duck pond, fairground attractions and waterslides. Also just half an hour by car is one of Italy’s largest amusement parks, Mirabilandia. Discover its dinosaur, Route 66 and Old West themed zones.

Public buses travel regularly between Viserbella and Rimini’s city center. You can also take a train to the Rimini-Viserba station and walk from there. Stay overnight at hotels, family-run guesthouses and self-catering apartments.
