"It a great place to stay and relax if traveling and visiting Jokulsarlon. A night stay is not enough, I would say at least 2 or 3 days. Very friendly staff. I would recomend modifying their restaurant menu though. The steak was waaaaay no appetizing. Second night we order cod and maaaan, you could tell that it was a frozen fish just warmed up and cooked. It was probably better if ther are SOUP options specially its a cold place to stay. A salad or any mediterenian dish would also be lovely....

"Staff was not very nice when we initially came in. Room smelled damp and was very warm (with no thermostat to control temperature). Parking was far from our actual room. No food options nearby, we had to drive over an hour to the next town for lunch. Personally would not stay here again."
