This was the loudest place I’ve ever stayed, unfinished Sheetrock patches inside the room door didn’t latch tight. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the outside noise was loud all night of was called on circus circus car park across the street for excessive partying . Also lots of tweakers making it not a safe place to stay

My stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Reno Downtown was decent overall. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite, though not particularly warm. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities, but it felt a bit outdated and could use some renovation. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too small for my liking. One of the highlights was the location—very convenient and close to Reno downtown. However, the noise from the street could be heard at night, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. Breakfast had a good variety, but the quality was just average. The dining area was a bit small, and service was ok. The Wi-Fi was free but inconsistent, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, it was a decent stay—nothing exceptional, but also nothing major to complain about. It’s a good choice for a short trip if you’re not looking for anything too fancy. ⭐⭐⭐/5

The door wouldn’t shut properly there was no TV you could hear all the sounds it felt like I was living in a slum I always thought that Howard Johnson’s was supposed to have really nice hotels. It’s my first time in one and I’ll never do it again.
