"Was relaxing walking distance to downtown Viña Del Mar, restaurants were great and not overly expensive. Outdoor pool had great setting but was a bit cold, indoor pool was warm and looked at outdoor pool. Staff was helpful and friendly, even if not all spoke English. I would definitely recommend the hotel, my kids loved it too. Olga did great job cleaning room and left us extra coffee and water. I drove here and valet parking was easy. "

"Overall a great concept. Love the different wines offered. First time sleeping in a container, can hear your neighbours as there is no sound proofing between the walls. Cleanliness could have been better as there was chocolate on the sofa cover, cobwebs on the furniture outside and tables in dining area on rooftop patio were dirty. "

"The Hotel Boutique 17 is a wonderful place. I cannot say enough good about it. The entire staff is great, from the front desk to the cleaning personel to the waiters at the restaurant. They are compitent and pleasant. The restaurant /bar has the best view in town and really good food. And the rooms are spacios, clean, and comfortable. I wish I had stayed there a month"

"Clean room, comfortable bed, fantastic views. The pool was very nice and we very much enjoyed the jacuzzi. Most of the staff was very friendly. They were over 40 minutes late both days with breakfast which was included with our stay. There was also a problem with being overcharged by the hotel but it was resolved quickly."

"Wonderful and very helpful stay They were all great It’s very hard walk around the hotel since the hole city is on a huge hill We had a few problems with no internet on the third floor where our suite was for the last day so couldn’t see movies Also big problem with the shower with the water being scorching hot and a dribble of cold. They said it couldn’t get fix because of water pressure. So very difficult and almost impossible to shower and we were there 5 nights The last small problem was...

"The location is wonderful, with views of the port and the city. Also, it is an easy walk to restaurants & marketplace as well as to the furnicular into the main square. Be sure to sign up for your private Spa session - with a small pool, hot tub, sauna and tranquil vibe. Above all - the staff was exceptional. I truly loved my couple of days here!"

"We stayed here two nights. We are Americans used to boring, run-of-the-mill hotels with no character and neutral staff who don’t like the guests. This was a lovely break from our norm. Everyone was super friendly, desirous to make our stay happy and give recommendations. The ceilings were super high in our room overlooking the bay, with a chandelier and lovely paint color. It felt like being in an early 1900’s great house. They have a gardener who comes to create gorgeous flowers and trees over 3 different terraces where you can go sit outside to eat or sip wine at sunset. The area in general is like the rest of Valparaiso with some dirt and grunge, but stepping into this hotel was like a most lovely sanctuary. Highly recommend. They lock the gate getting in and out and recognize you by face so there is no fear of random people coming off the street. This may be normal in South America but we noted it as the whole place felt and seemed very secure. They helped us get a taxi for our trip to the vineyards as well, which was nice. "
