"Upon checking in I asked if it were possible to get a bathtub. The front desk was able to accommodate us. The room was clean, comfortable and very convenient. The hot breakfast was awesome with a good selection of items. Would definitely stay again if we have a morning departure. "

Comfort slipped a point because only soft pillows available which owner is addressing. 5 stars is not enough for this property."

"I wanted to be closer to the Airport to catch the flight next morning.I used train from Edinburgh to the Gartwick.Slept over night to catch flight to Africa in the morning.It was very convenient and managed to be at the Airport well in time.The Hotel staff communicated with me after booking .I informed them that I was going to arrive late so they gave me instruction of what to do when I arrive, transportation contacts.They were very helpful.I reccoment this Lodge."

"If you are taking a trip from Gatwick, I can highly recommend Acorn Lodge. The room was clean and tidy on our arrival, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast that was made available at 5AM was just enough to start our day. What made the stay even better was the shuttle bus service. £10 is a bit of a bargain, when you consider a taxi is almost double that at £19. Plus with very reasonably priced daily parking rates also offered, it is definitely worth booking a stay here. We would definitely consider using Acorn Lodge again. Thank you!"
