"This was an ideal hotel to stay , as we came along way nearly 6 hours, this was right off the main road and plenty spaces to par, the hotel has some lovely history and from the outside it has a oldy worldy feel, but a modern twist it had everything we needed, towels daily, water hot and clean bedding, had a huge bed and room, the service was very good and polite staff in all areas, accomadating also fresh milk everyday, 3 days was not enough, but we came to go to family gathering. "Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location. Ample car parking space which was free. Closer to amenities and main road. Comfortable bed. Clean room. But no electric car charging facilities- at least a trickle charging via 3 pin socket would have been useful."

"Our suite had amazing views and plenty of space for us to relax in. Check in/out was simple and reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lounge area did have damp in it, which i think is being tackled by a heating unit. We wouldve appreciated cutlery besides teaspoons, tools to wash up (plates, bowls, microwave provided and room adverised as having a kitchenette). The main bedroom didnt have a radiator, when we asked staff they advised the heater in the lounge should address the lounge...

"Historical hotel with a very good bar. Faces the sea and the room we had was large and really stylish. I would stay here again without doubt. Lovely breakfast this morning too. Staff really welcoming"

"A lovely little local gem, 5 mins from the beach and lovely walks, feels a bit like a home away from home and Jim, the owner, could not be more accomodating. I had a poorly 7 year old and 2 year old with me and he made their stay superb too. Cheers Jim, we will be back."

"Had a lovely weekend at the san clu, just one little niggle there was no plug socket at the side of the bed to charge your phone, had to leave it on the other side of the room. Other than that it was excellent great staff very helpful."

Great Boutique Hotel

"This hotel was excellent. The staff were delightful, everyone very friendly and very helpful. The hotel had all of the amenities you would need bar a fridge in the room as other reviews have mentioned. This wasn’t an issue for us though, they give you milk in a thermos at the bar. The room itself did look a little tired in places but it’s a 3-star hotel so that was okay with us. That being said, it was very clean and comfortable which is what matters most. I would advise check booking through the hotel website directly, they do deals and I suspect I may have gotten the room cheaper directly than through Hotels.com, rookie mistake by me but it is what it is. Overall a great hotel made even better by its staff."
