"the room was not warm enough and although mentioned to the staff, it was some time before the heating was sufficient. The tea maker was in a cupboard on the floor. This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. "Lovely accommodating owners of the guest house. Nice room and bathroom. Area to sit downstairs and watch the TV, which was lovely. Surrounded by nice walks and a local pub. Breakfast was also nice. I cannot fault the place."

"What a wonderful stay. Room absolutely gorgeous and with everything you could require even a fridge. Wide range of hot beverages to choose from. So clean and warm. The hotel restaurant was amazing, from the food to the wonderful friendly staff. Really liked the open fires and real Christmas trees made it very special. "

"Stayed in the Eskeleth room - eccentric decor that feels luxurious. Nice views of the dales in a commanding position by the green in Reeth. Breakfast very good with lots of choice. Also had an evening meal which was very good as well. Staff very helpful and attentive. Parking on site. Would recommend for a short stay in the Dales."
